hello ephraim, utah

college. wow. i never thought in a million years this day would actually come. i still feel like a little kid. i'm moved in and all set. i've got myself 5 other room-mates. so far so good. my actual room-mate is actually quite cool. so we'll get along quite nicely. however, it was a little difficult for me to say good-bye to my mom and megan. i definitely will miss those two. they've been my best friends for thee longest time. crazy thing is, my mom didn't even really cry.

i can't wait to meet new people and make new friends. it will be an adventure. one day down, 4 months to go. i can do it :)

Well, here's the thing. My family is just amazing. I love them so very much. There's a tradition: when a grandchild in the family goes away to school for the first time, we have a little get together, sort of like a shower. Food, laughs, gifts...the works. Well; tonight was my shower. I got just about everything I'll need for my little apartment in Ephraim, Utah. However, thee absolute best thing I received tonight was a gift from my baby sister :) She made me a quilt and wrote me a very cute poem to go along with it.

Best Friends Forever

This blanket that you see,
It was made for you.
My somewhat big sister,
Leaving for somewhere new.

When Mom and I-
Just aren't around,

New..

Anyone that's anyone has a blog now days. So, I thought I'd make one too, just to be cool.

I leave for College in 2 weeks! It seems a little strange to be honest. It will be an adventure to see where my life takes me in the next few months. I'm excited to get out, meet new people and make big decisions :) I am on my way to Snow College. It will be a good experience and nice to finally be 10 minutes away from my best friend again. I'm going to miss my family something fierce.
