aloha!!

today i started my journey across the pacific to hawaii.
late nights and early mornings don't mix well i've learned.
i stayed out a little too late last night and was at the airport to make my first flight by 5 this morning! let me tell you, NUTS!

my first flight wasn't bad. quick.
my second flight, not so much. i'm surprised i made it to hawaii in one piece!
the lax airport is insane.
i barely made my flight.
i sat in front of thee cutest little boys.
"3...2...1 blast off!!! hold on to your helmets everyone!!! this is AWESOME!" is all he said the first half hour of the flight.
later, i didn't think he was so cute. he and his brother sang "old macdonald had a toliet" the rest of the time.
between the singing children and the man that snored and his drunk wife next to me, i had one enjoyable time!!

then i land in hawaii and am walking around aimlessly trying to find baggage claim. texting my mom i got a little lost. finally i found my way and when i got to where i was supposed to be, the luggage services kindly let me know that my bag didn't make the connecting flight in LA and wasn't in hawaii. lovely.

this trip should be interesting!!

i don't know why, but i love this quote. i've never been a huge fan of good ol' bob but these are some wise words.

i've had a lot on my mind lately and when that happens, i stress myself out to the extreme!! i need to chill out and relax. figure out what i'm doing and do it. smile and let life happen. love with all i have. let things happen and don't doubt them.

today i realized that you can't make everyone happy. you have to do what makes you happy first...

it was easter weekend this past weekend and i loved spending the weekend with my family. my mom and i went shopping one day and i really enjoyed spending that one on one time with her. she's the best mom anyone could ask for!!

I'm so excited that baseball has started! I love going to all these little league games! Its so fun to watch the different teams and hear what they have to say! Some kids are quite funny.

I've had the chance to watch my cousins, Mason and Alex, play. They're on the same team this year and mu Uncle Nick is coaching. I get to spend time with my family and watch one of my all time favorite sports!! Never thought I'd say this but in their case.......GO YANKEE'S!

Megan tried out for Alta Cheer yesterday. Everyone was so worried, stressed and nervous! My Mom especiallu. I knew all along she'd make it. And of course she did!! Way to go kid! I love you Meg!!

Hawaii in 12 days! I. Can't. Wait. My swimsuit came in the mail finally and it makes me even more excited! I can't wait to get out of this crappy weather and into some sunshine!

I babysat Zach and Colton this last week and those boys are hilarious! Colton is one smart 5 year old. I can't believe how fast they both have grown up! Its insane. Zach will be taller than me soon I swear. He's the tallest 7 year old I know. Maybe even one of the only ones I know. These two are my favorite boys in the whole world. I love you both!

spring fever.

its april and i feel like there hasn't been more than 3 days without rain or snow. it's supposed to be spring!! i've got spring fever. BAD.

i've caught this nasty cold going around. i'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. i feel as though i catch a few things working in a hospital.
