memorial day :)
what a day.
it was nice to be home and chill. relax and spend some time with my family.
we went to my aunt marylynn's house tonight for a bbq. we had a ping pong tournament, it was a lot of fun. unfortunately, i'm a little rusty and got out quick. hope we do it again soon though :) it was good to see everyone.
everyone is growing up so fast...graduating pre-school, going into high school, getting married/engaged, getting their drivers license.... my cousin kevin is getting engaged in a few weeks and my cousin kellie got engaged 2 nights ago. meg passed her driving test and will be turning 16 in a few days.
it's been a week since i've been home from kansas. i can't believe how fast it went. it seems like i was just barely there. adam has been gone almost a month now!! crazy. at times it feels like he's been gone forever!! we got to skype tonight and i was sure glad to see his face :) made me really excited to hopefully see him again in 11 days!! i can't wait until august so that he will be done and be home!!
i start work full time this week. excited and bummed all in the same. i will love the pay check but miss my monday and friday days off!!
summer doesn't feel like its ever going to get here. it's been raining like crazy and i'm afraid it won't ever stop. i sure hope it does though. some sunshine will be nice!! the pool by my house is open now, i'd really like to go once the weather cooperates!! i never thought i'd say this, but i almost wish summer was over...but only for one reason :)

I MISS ADAM!
I want to go to sleep and not wake up again until Friday morning when its time to get in the car and drive 13 hours to see him! Pathetic, I know. But it's weird not being with him every night or being able to jump in my car and be there in 5 minutes. Man...only 4 more days-about 94 hours (my mom did the math, I think shr might miss him almost as much as me)

Lions, Tigers & Bears...oh my!!
I have thee cutest little brothers in the world!! I went to one of Colton's soccer games this week. There is quite a difference from last year to this year. Last year he'd dance around and look at his shadow while on the field, and this year he's actually kicking the ball and trying to score. I can't believe how fast he's grown up.
Before I went to Hawaii, the boys came over and colored Easter egss. It was a lot of fun!! I picked them up and Colton said, "Do you realize that I have a mohawk??" It made me laugh, he's got a little attitude! Megan's boyfriend, Colton, came over too and after they colored eggs, they went on a hike up the mountain and went on a "bear hunt" I think they had a pretty good time.
Megan will be 16 in a few weeks! I can't believe that she will be driving soon. It will be nice so that she can drive herself places now. I just feel like she's too young still. My siblings are just growing up way too fast!
Garden City, Kansas...only 12 hours and 47 minutes and 874.22 miles away!! Yes, I know it's crazy. But, I'm going!! It's going to be the longest drive of my life...but it will be very worth it. Adam has been in Kansas now for almost 2 weeks. He's been really struggling with the alarm sales. He finally got one though!! I'm so happy for him. It has only been a few weeks, things will pick up for him and he will do great out there!! I can't wait to drive out and see him though. I feel like these last 2 weeks have been longer than they really have been. It will be exciting :)

roll with it.
back from hawaii. it was fun. i got to see a lot and got to spend some time with a good friend. the weather was so nice. hawaii is so pretty. rj was great to let me come out and see him. i hope he had a good birthday, even if we did get a little sun burnt.
adam is gone for the summer. oh what a bummer. he's out selling alarm systems in kansas. he'll be back soon. && i can't wait :)
don't worry about the people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
